About Net Positive Soccer

How We Serve Players and Schools

Net Positive Soccer provides purposeful soccer development for players ages 4–18 and practical programming for schools throughout Cedar Park and North Austin.

For families, our core pathway includes private training for focused individual support, small-group training with teammates, friends, or siblings for more repetitions and personalized interaction, and group training for game-connected learning. New players begin with a free individual evaluation lesson so we can understand their experience, goals, confidence, and current needs before recommending the right environment.

For schools, our core services include School PE enrichment, after-school soccer, and school-team development. We work with school leaders to build programs around their students, schedule, space, staffing, and goals from introductory participation to a sustainable competitive team.

Speed and agility training, team sessions, camps, and clinics are available as supporting options. Across every service, the goal is the same: stronger technique, better decisions, greater confidence, and a positive relationship with the game.

Meet Coach Josh

Josh Hale is the founder and lead coach of Net Positive Soccer. He works with players ages 4–18 and believes development should be intentional, encouraging, challenging, and connected to real game decisions.

Josh brings 10 years of youth coaching experience as a private trainer and academy coach and has served as head coach of the Meridian World School Girls Varsity Soccer Team since 2024. That combination of individual development, group coaching, and school-team leadership shapes the way Net Positive Soccer supports families, teams, and school partners.

His additional background in relationship development and client service helps him communicate clearly with parents, coaches, and school leaders while building programs around their goals.

What to Expect in the First Evaluation Lesson

Every player begins in a different place. The first individual lesson establishes a positive starting point and helps us build an appropriate training plan.

Before the session, we talk with the parent and player about experience, confidence, current challenges, and goals. Through age-appropriate soccer activities, we observe six areas: ball control and dribbling; passing and receiving; shooting and striking; speed, agility, and coordination; defensive skills and awareness; and physical readiness.

We also notice effort, focus, communication, response to coaching, willingness to try again, and enjoyment of the game. The player is never asked to complete a long run or maximum-effort fitness test.

After the lesson, parents receive brief feedback on current strengths, priority areas, the recommended training focus, and whether private, small-group, or group training is the best next step.

Ready to Build the Right Path?

Families can begin with a free individual evaluation lesson and receive a clear recommendation for private, small-group, or group training. Schools can schedule a program conversation about PE enrichment, after-school soccer, or school-team development.

Contact Net Positive Soccer to discuss the player’s or school’s experience, goals, schedule, and next steps. We can also discuss speed and agility training, team sessions, camps, or clinics when those services fit the need.
